  4. 1)  Minimum system requirements:

  6. Macintosh:
  7. 68040 or better processor
  8. 16 MB RAM
  9. 4x CD-ROM drive
  10. Operating System 7.2 or better
  11.  
  12. PC:
  13. 486-50 MHz or better processor
  14. 16 MB RAM
  15. 4x CD-ROM drive
  16. Sound Blaster compatible sound card and speakers
  17. Windows 3.1 or better or Windows 95

  20. 2)  QuickTime VR  (QTVR)
  21. For the CD to function, QuickTime 2.1 and the 
  22. QTVR Player must be installed on your computer.  
  23. The QTVR files are included on the CD-ROM.  
  24. If your machine does not have these files installed, 
  25. copy the QTVR folders for your operating system to
  26. your hard drive and follow the installation instructions 
  27. provided in the folder.

  30. 3)  Monitor Color Depth
  31.  
  32. PC Users:  The CD will NOT display at greater than 256 
  33. colors and performance may be diminished if played at 
  34. higher resolutions.  If you encounter problems with the 
  35. display, try using the "Standard VGA" driver.  
  36.  
  37. Macintosh Users:  The CD will display color resolutions 
  38. greater than 256, but if you are noticing difficulties 
  39. with performance, try reducing the resolution of your 
  40. monitor.

  44. 4)  Before running the CD, turn off ALL OTHER 
  45. applications.

  49. 5)  Click on video segments to return to the previous section.

  53. 6)  Macintosh Users:  If you have trouble getting the 
  54. application to launch, try allocating more memory to the 
  55. projector.  To do this, highlight the projector (single-click) 
  56. in the finder, then choose Get Info from the File Menu.  In the 
  57. window that appears, change the "Preferred Size" to 8000.
